90% pro nationalist/anti Labour posts Welsh Blog Index. Not in the closet, are you?

The mediocre blog of Ordovicious mentioned five times in one post. Showing your true colours and identity.

Since there's only 4 Labour bloggers in the Wales Top 40 (Paul Flynn, Leighton, Huw Lewis and Martin Eaglestone) doesn't 10% make perfect sense?
(2.49am and 5.03am - don;t anons ever sleep!)

Hi Anon(s),

Thanks for your comments. The fact is I went through the blogs and this is what was happening. Ordovicius (as I have said on other occasion) is a popular blogger and posts quite frequently. This round up covers happenings on the weekend in which Ordovicius posted a lot. If anything maybe you should query his dedication to politics rather than my reviews of that. (Personally I think the blogsphere would be far poorer without him. His nominations to win an award at my awards this year would suggest that’s a consistent view with my readers).

In this review Peter Black (Lib Dem) is mentioned more than once. There are also Tory Bloggers (David Jones) non aligned (Valley's Mam/Miserable Old Fart/ Miss Wagstaff - although that’s up for debate amongst some bloggers).

I appreciate the input but as stated before the reviews follow the blogs. There are more nationalist/anti labour blogs and so there is little wonder that is reflected in the reviews as Hen Ferchetan is correct in pointing out.

Or Plaid activists that were asked to vote haha

His posts are short in nature and bring nothing to the debate but I guess you know that already.

I noticed you ignored the fact that the prof is back

I only review blogs on my blogroll. I try and ensure that only active blogs are on the blogroll. As DJE retired from blogging it was pulled and so if he has returned for good I will have missed it. I will happily replace it and any other new blogs that you care to recommend.

Whatever reason Ordovicius won he did win democratically so I have no reason to discriminate against him (or any other bloggers). I’m sorry if you are not happy that prolific and popular blogs are covered.

The fact remains at the moment there are more nationalist blogs in the Welsh blogsphere and so they will naturally take the lions share of blog reviews. It is not up to me, nor would I want it to be, to address that balance. If more Tory/Labour/Lib Dem blogs appear they will be featured. Equally if more nationalist blogs appear they will also be given coverage.

My point is that you constantly cover the one nationalist blogger when his posts are so poor i.e. the one liner posts, or the cut and paste jobs that Ordo produces.

He's popular with nationalists and no one else.

I cover posts by Ordovicius on issues of political note. I do not run an opinion poll so I can't see how you can say that he is popular with just one section of people. Still that doesn't really concern me. If his posts are popular (whoever the readers maybe) why would I not cover them?

so where is your coverage of the prof then? The only person who has said anything worth reading about the welsh economy - couldn't be that he's a tory with a brain is it?

Hi Anon,

If you had taken the time to read the previous comments you would have read this from me,

"I only review blogs on my blogroll. I try and ensure that only active blogs are on the blogroll. As DJE retired from blogging it was pulled and so if he has returned for good I will have missed it. I will happily replace it and any other new blogs that you care to recommend."

I will be covering DJE in future as he has returned to blogging.
